Universal Safety Screen (Kid Catcher)

Polylok's safety screen protection can now be utilized on PVC Ribbed Pipe, HDPE Corrugated, and Concrete Risers with Polylok's new Universal Kid Catcher. These heavy-duty ABS screens act as a secondary layer of protection if the riser cover is unknowingly damaged, removed, or not put back on. Everything you need is included from self tapping screws to concrete anchors and a carbide bit to go with it. Help save a child or pets life with this secondary form of protection.

Instructions for installing the Polylok 24" Universal Safety Screen

• Fully collapse ledge ring by releasing tab on ratchet catch.
• Install ledge ring into pipe or riser. Make sure ledge faces up and is at least 7" below top of pipe or riser.
• Expand ledge ring to provide a tight fit with the ID of pipe or riser. Install at least 7" down from the top of pipe or riser.
• For ribbed and corrugated pipe, use a power drill driver with 5/16" hex drive bit. Secure ledge ring to pipe through holes in ledge ring with 8 #10x1" hex head screws provided.
• For concrete riser installation, using supplied 1/4" masonry bit re-drill ledge ring and continue to drill 1" into concrete riser. Install the 8 supplied wedge anchors.
• Install the safety screen using 6 supplied #10x3/4" Phillips pan head screws.
• NOTE: All 6 screws must be used to secure safety screen to ledge ring.
