The original Zabel® disc dam filter was patented in 1959. The 12” Series filters have been filtering
wastewater longer than any other filter in the wastewater industry. In 2000, Zabel made the original even
better by introducing a complete redesign of the series with more great features and finer levels of
filtration. In 2006, Polylok, Inc. redesigned the A100/300/600-12X20 merging the best of the Polylok
line with the best features of the Zabel line. This new innovative design is available with or without
our patented red shut-off ball.

SPECIFICATIONS
Polylok’s redesign of the Zabel filter includes ribbing on the
outside for additional strength. The filter is much lighter in
weight, and offers an improved latching mechanism to prevent
the filter from floating. You will also see guide rails that
simplify removal and replacement during cleaning. The central
support rod has been modified on all Zabel A100, A300, and
A600 models to provide greater strength and durability. The
new central support system is thicker than the original. It was
tested up to 1,200 lbs!
