D-BOX SEAL INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Tools Needed

- A sharp blade no wider than 1/2”

- Grease or lubricant for blade

Lubricate your blade and cut

following the angle of the circle

impressions.

Slide the seal into place from

inside of the D-Box and tighten

nut from the outside. Make sure

seal is facing the correct way.

Check to make sure you have

completely tightened the nut and

that the seal is not loose on the

D-Box.

To open the seal tabs use a key

or screwdriver to start the pull

tab for the correct pipe size.

(TEAR OUT- DO NOT CUT OUT)

Once you have started the tear,

use your hands to pull off the

rest of the seal tab.

(TEAR OUT- DO NOT CUT OUT)

You are now ready to insert the

correct size pipe by pushing it

through the flexible watertight

D-Box seal.

Special Instructions for Installing 4" Corrugated Pipe Only:

1. Remove the 4" TEAR OUT on the seal. TEAR OUT - DO NOT CUT OUT.

2. Carefully cut between raised ribs on back of seal in all 4 places.

3. Push corrugated pipe into seal.

12” D-Box Only:

Snap the stabilizing

feet into the sockets

at the base of the

box.

3001-SN (4" seal and nut)

3001-6 / 3001-N6 (6" seal and nut)
